The 35-year-old lefty reliever is now available on the open market after two stints this season.

Veteran left-handed reliever Andrew Chafin triggered an opt-out clause in his minor league contract with the Reds and is now a free agent, per Jon Heyman. Chafin, 35, has already cycled through two organizations in 2026 after being released by the Twins during spring training.
