Minnesota clears a 40-man roster spot after less than two weeks with the right-hander.
The Twins designated righty Christian Roa for assignment, freeing a 40-man roster spot for newly acquired right-hander Yendrys Gómez. Roa, claimed off waivers from Houston roughly two weeks ago, did not appear in a game for Minnesota.
