The Rays are halting Gavin Lux's rehab assignment due to a left shoulder injury, manager Kevin Cash told Marc Topkin of The Tampa Bay Times. Lux will have imaging done later in the week and is sidelined for the foreseeable future. He has not made his team debut since joining Tampa Bay.
Lux's return timeline is now unclear, leaving a hole in the Rays' infield depth as the team navigates early-season roster decisions.
