An arbiter ruled the Jaguars will not owe Meyer a balance on his contract following his December 2021 firing.

An arbiter has ruled against Urban Meyer in his grievance against the Jacksonville Jaguars, meaning Meyer will not receive a $30 million-plus salary balance from the team. Meyer sued the Jaguars shortly after his firing in December 2021, but the ruling closes that claim.

Meyer was fired midseason after 13 games as Jacksonville's head coach. The Jaguars have since moved through two coaching regimes and are now in the early stages of the 2026 offseason under Doug Pederson.
