The defensive end and New Orleans are resuming contract talks after progress in negotiations.

Cam Jordan will meet with the Saints on Tuesday to continue contract discussions, per Terron Armstead on "The Set." The defensive end and New Orleans have made progress in talks, according to Armstead, Jordan's former teammate.

Jordan, 35, spent his entire 16-year career with the Saints before becoming a free agent this offseason. He recorded 5.5 sacks in 16 games last season and remains a core piece of the team's pass rush if terms can be reached.
