The Falcons QB remains on a restricted participation plan seven months after his ACL tear.

Michael Penix Jr. will not be a full participant in Atlanta's mandatory minicamp this week, per head coach Kevin Stefanski. The Falcons QB partially tore his left ACL in November and missed the remainder of last season. Stefanski has not cleared him for 11-on-11 work.

Penix expects to be ready by training camp, which opens later this summer. The timeline leaves roughly four weeks between the end of minicamp and the start of full-squad drills, the typical window teams use for late-stage rehab clearance.
