The Carolina Hurricanes re-signed restricted free agent forward Viktor Neuchev to a one-year, two-way contract on July 17, paying $850,000 at the NHL level and $90,000 in the AHL, per PuckPedia. The 22-year-old winger, a 2022 third-round pick of Buffalo, came to Carolina in January for defenseman Gavin Bayreuther and managed nine points in 30 games with AHL Chicago after the trade. He projects as a Wolves regular to open 2026-27.
There is no fantasy relevance in redraft; Neuchev is a deep-dynasty watch name only until his AHL production says otherwise.
