The pass rusher rejoins Houston on a deal worth up to $8 million.

Jadeveon Clowney and the Texans agreed to a one-year deal worth $5.5 million in base value with a top end of $8 million, per NFL Network. Clowney, the No. 1 overall pick in 2014, returns to the franchise where his career began after visits elsewhere in free agency.

Clowney, a three-time Pro Bowler, was last with the Ravens in 2024. The Texans add a veteran pass-rush option during training camp as they shape their defensive line ahead of the 2026 season.
