The veteran pass rusher returns to Houston on a deal he calls an easy call.
Jadeveon Clowney re-signed with the Texans, calling the decision "a really easy decision." The pass rusher, now 31, said he has "grown up and learned the game a lot more since leaving" and feels equipped to help younger players on the roster.
Clowney spent his first five NFL seasons in Houston before departing in 2017. He has since played for Seattle, Tennessee, and Philadelphia, among others, and enters the 2026 season as a veteran depth piece in the pass-rush rotation.
