The left-hander replaces shoulder-injured Gavin Hollowell ahead of the Yankees series.
The Cubs recalled left-hander Antoine Kelly to the roster for this weekend's series against the Yankees, the team announced. Kelly will make his MLB debut when he appears in a game, taking the spot vacated by Gavin Hollowell, who was placed on the injured list with shoulder inflammation.
The move comes at midseason as Chicago manages its pitching depth during the trade-deadline window. Kelly's arrival gives the Cubs another arm for a series against one of baseball's top offenses.
