The Cubs' rotation depth takes another hit with their veteran left-hander sidelined.

Matthew Boyd suffered a knee injury while playing with his children and is out for the Cubs. Boyd, 35, is in his 12th season and has made four starts this year with a 7.00 ERA and 1.44 WHIP over 18 innings.
