Ottawa's addition of a 23-year-old centre raises questions about the veteran's role in the playoff push.

The Ottawa Senators signed centre Stephen Halliday last week, a move that looks like a signal the organization may be reshaping its depth at the position. Lars Eller, 36, is an unrestricted free agent this summer and has played 16 seasons in the league; Halliday, 23 with one year of professional experience, posted 4 goals and 7 assists in 30 regular-season games this year.
