The Dodgers acquired center fielder Alek Thomas from the Diamondbacks in exchange for outfield prospect Jose Requena. Thomas, 26, has played five seasons in the majors and is batting .184 with 2 home runs over 25 games this season. Michael Siani was designated for assignment to open a 40-man roster spot.
