The 39-year-old Padres starter has begun playing catch in his recovery from an elbow injury.
Yu Darvish revealed Tuesday via social media that he has resumed playing catch as part of his elbow rehabilitation. Darvish, 39, is in his 13th major league season and was 5-5 with a 5.38 ERA over 15 starts in 2025 before the injury sidelined him.
