Injury

The Falcons QB is back on the field after ACL surgery, working with receivers including Drake London during spring workouts.

Michael Penix is participating in throwing drills during Atlanta's offseason workouts, the team showed in a video Tuesday. Penix is recovering from ACL surgery on his knee and was cleared to begin throwing as part of the Falcons' organized team activities.

The second-year QB was drafted second overall in 2024 and played in 12 games last season before the injury. His return to throwing drills suggests he is on track for the start of training camp, though no formal timeline for full participation has been announced.
