The 32-year-old right wing finished the regular season with a 24-24 line on a team built for playoff depth.
Rickard Rakell logged 60 games for Pittsburgh in 2025-26, posting 24 goals and 24 assists for 48 points. The 32-year-old right wing, 13 years into his NHL career, carried a -2 rating and averaged 2 SOG per game.
Rakell has two seasons remaining on his contract at $5 million AAV through 2027-28. In the playoffs, deployment on Pittsburgh's fourth line and special-teams units will determine his usage as the Penguins chase depth scoring.
