The Dodgers' ace will miss time beyond his initial IL window.
Tyler Glasnow won't be activated when first eligible to come off the injured list, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Thursday. Glasnow, sidelined with a back injury, has made 6 starts this season with a 3-2 record, 2.56 ERA, and 47 strikeouts over 38.2 innings. Roberts did not provide a revised timeline for the 32-year-old right-hander's return.
The setback extends Los Angeles' gap at the top of the rotation. Glasnow was in the early stages of what looked to be a strong campaign before the injury sidelined him.
