Injury

The 36-year-old Red Sox reliever is working back from injury in Triple-A.

Danny Coulombe is rehabbing with Worcester, Boston's Triple-A affiliate, after time on the injured list. The 36-year-old right-hander has pitched to a 5.63 ERA over 12 appearances this season and will need to show his command and durability at the minor-league level before returning to Red Sox bullpen consideration.

Worcester lost to Buffalo 5-2 in a bullpen game, with relief pitchers giving up runs throughout and the offense unable to capitalize on eight walks, going 2-for-14 with runners in scoring position.
