Montreal forced to a decisive game after a home-ice defeat in the playoffs.
The Montreal Canadiens lost at home Saturday and now face a Game 7 to stay alive in their playoff series. The loss came at the Bell Centre but did not shake the team's confidence heading into the elimination matchup.
Game 7s are single-elimination rounds in the NHL playoffs where the lower-seeded or trailing team must win on the road or at a neutral site to advance. Montreal's ability to regroup after a home defeat will determine whether they extend their postseason run.
