Montreal's 2-0 series lead evaporates after Ottawa storms back Monday night.

Ottawa Charge defeated Montreal Victoire in Game 3 of the Walter Cup Finals on Monday, forcing a Game 4 and keeping their title hopes alive. Montreal entered holding a 2-0 series lead and the Walter Cup trophy on-site, but the Charge mounted a comeback that staved off elimination in the best-of-five series.

Montreal coach Kori Cheverie acknowledged the third-game risk before the loss, saying the Victoire would be focused on closing the series after going up 2-0. The Charge's win pushes the Finals to at least a Game 4.
