The Pelicans hired Jamahl Mosley as head coach, the team announced Monday. Mosley, 45, spent the last five seasons as an assistant with the Magic and replaces Willie Green, who was fired in April after three seasons in New Orleans.
Executive VP of basketball operations Joe Dumars said in the team statement: "Jamahl has earned tremendous respect across the NBA for his leadership, professionalism, and the strong relationships he develops with players and staff."
