Alex Freeland was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City last Monday after Mookie Betts was activated off the injured list, clearing a spot in the Dodgers infield. Freeland, 24 in his second season, won Pacific Coast League player of the week in his first week back in the minors.

Freeland is 8-for-77 with 4 doubles and 1 homer across 26 games this season at the major league level. His time in Oklahoma City marks a return to Triple-A while the Dodgers manage their infield depth.
