The Chiefs receiver was on probation for a street racing incident that already cost him six games last season.

Rashee Rice, the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for violating probation after testing positive for THC. Rice had been under probation stemming from a street racing incident that also resulted in a six-game suspension during the 2025 season, in which he recorded 53 catches for 571 yards and 5 touchdowns across eight games.

The jail sentence and ongoing legal situation add another layer of uncertainty to Rice's status heading into the 2026 offseason and beyond.
