InjuryFantasy impact

The Dodgers lose their veteran starter to a lengthy absence mid-season.

Tyler Glasnow was placed on the 60-day injured list with a back injury. The 32-year-old right-hander had appeared in six games as a starter this season, posting a 3-2 record, 2.56 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and 47 strikeouts across 38.2 innings.

The move removes a core rotation piece for Los Angeles during the stretch run toward the All-Star break and trade deadline. Glasnow has 11 years of big-league experience and was a key part of the Dodgers' pitching depth heading into June.
