InjuryFantasy impact

The Angels' veteran right fielder was scratched Friday with hip tightness before the strain was diagnosed.

Jorge Soler was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a left oblique strain. The 34-year-old right fielder had been scratched from Friday's game against the Dodgers due to hip tightness before the injury was formally diagnosed.

Soler is in his 13th season and has appeared in 29 games for Los Angeles this year, batting .236 with 7 home runs and 25 RBI across 106 at-bats. His absence removes a veteran bat from the Angels' lineup during the season's second half.
