The 25-year-old starter exits the rotation after a rough outing against the Dodgers.

The Los Angeles Angels placed Jack Kochanowicz on the 15-day injured list Sunday with right elbow inflammation. The 25-year-old right-hander allowed seven runs in one-third of an inning Saturday in a 9-1 loss to the Dodgers, his third start of the season. Kochanowicz entered Sunday with a 3.09 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 35 innings across six starts.

The injury removes Kochanowicz from the Angels' rotation for at least the next two weeks. Los Angeles will need to slot a replacement starter into the schedule while evaluating his recovery timeline.
