Recap
A disputed call on the basepaths helped Toronto edge Baltimore.
Ernie Clement was ruled safe at first base on a play that drew Baltimore's ire in the Blue Jays' 6-4 win. Clement swerved right to dodge a tag attempt by Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson, who threw to first assuming the runner would be called out for leaving the baseline.
Clement, 30, is in his sixth season and is batting .302 (38-126) with 13 doubles through 31 games this season. Henderson, the Orioles' 24-year-old shortstop, is in his fifth year with a .207 average (28-135) and 9 homers in 32 games.
