Injury
The Rockies right fielder left Friday's game after taking a pitch to the head.
Tyler Freeman was hit in the head by a 98.2 mph cutter and exited the Rockies-Brewers game Friday. Freeman, 26, is in his fifth season as Colorado's right fielder and was hitting .293 (17-for-58) with 5 runs and 1 home run through 19 games in 2026.
Freeman's status for the remainder of the series and beyond depends on the team's medical evaluation. Head injuries require immediate concussion protocol assessment before a player can return to play.
