Injury
The Mariners catcher is working his way back from the injured list after a slow start to the season.
Cal Raleigh hit a grand slam during a rehab assignment as he works toward a return to the Mariners from the injured list. Through 33 games and 129 at-bats this season, the 29-year-old catcher has managed 24 hits, 7 home runs, and 18 RBI.
Raleigh's return would address Seattle's catching depth at a point in the season when the AL West race remains competitive. The Mariners will determine his readiness for activation based on his performance in the minor-league assignment.
