The Diamondbacks traded reliever Taylor Rashi to the Twins for cash considerations, moving him off Arizona’s 40-man roster after a Friday designation for assignment. The move opens space for infield prospect LuJames Groover.
Minnesota had a 40-man opening after designating center fielder James Outman for assignment on Saturday. Outman, 28, is in his fifth season and has played in 25 games this year with a 4-31 (.129) batting line.
Rashi has a full slate of minor league options available.
