Miami’s new head coach sees early momentum from the Dolphins ‘ backup quarterback during OTAs.
New Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley said Malik Willis has looked as good as he has since knowing him, according to early offseason remarks. Willis, 26, is in his fifth season and serves as Miami’s No. 2 quarterback behind Tua Tagovailoa .
Willis appeared in four games last season, posting a 145.5 rating with 422 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, and a 93.1 QBR. The Dolphins are entering a new coaching era under Hafley after the 2025 season.
