Browns head coach Todd Monken has not named a starting quarterback, per his latest comments on the ongoing competition between Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson . Monken said he would prefer to have the decision made by the end of the offseason program.
Sanders, 24, threw for 1,400 yards, 7 TD, and 10 INT over 8 games in 2025 with a 68.1 rating. Watson, 30, posted a 79.0 rating in 7 games last season with 1,148 yards, 5 TD, and 3 INT.
The race continues through spring work.
