The quarterback and Kansas City locked in long-term alignment during the offseason.
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs agreed Wednesday to amend his contract with two additional years, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. The extension keeps the 30-year-old quarterback, who completed the 2025 season with a 89.6 rating and 22-11 TD-INT line over 14 games, tied to the organization through the remainder of his prime.
The deal signals the Chiefs' commitment to their franchise cornerstone as offseason roster construction begins. Mahomes has been in Kansas City since his 2017 debut and remains the anchor of the team's playoff pipeline heading into the 2026 campaign.
