Bronny James posted an image Wednesday showing the surgical scar from the cardiac arrest he experienced in July 2024, before his entry into the NBA. The 21-year-old guard is in his first season with the Lakers, averaging 2.9 points and 1.2 assists in 42 games (8.9 minutes per outing).
James collapsed during a Klutch Sports summer league workout and underwent a successful procedure. He returned to play in the 2024-25 season and has appeared in playoff games as a reserve.
