The Dodgers' designated hitter looks set to return to the lineup against Chicago.

Shohei Ohtani has a strong chance to be in the starting lineup Friday against the White Sox, per Jack Harris of the California Post. The 31-year-old designated hitter is dealing with a knee injury but does not appear to be facing a significant absence.

Ohtani is 30-for-115 with 6 home runs and 13 RBI across 32 games this season. His availability heading into the All-Star break and trade deadline stretch matters for Los Angeles' depth at the position.
