Minnesota's quarterback competition extends into training camp, with both signal-callers getting reps with the star receiver during the offseason window.
Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said Thursday that Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy will work together with Justin Jefferson ahead of training camp, per O'Connell's comments to reporters. The coach confirmed the quarterback competition will continue through the preseason.
Murray, 28, completed 2025 with a 88.6 rating and 6-3 TD-INT line across 5 games. McCarthy, 23, threw for 1,632 yards with an 11-12 TD-INT line in 10 games. Jefferson, 26, caught 84 passes for 1,048 yards and 2 touchdowns in 17 games last season.
