The Golden Knights center will miss Sunday's must-win game after a Game 5 injury.
William Karlsson was ruled out Saturday for Game 6 against Carolina after suffering an injury in Thursday's Game 5 loss. The 33-year-old center, in his 12th season with Vegas, will sit out the elimination game Sunday at T-Mobile Arena with the Hurricanes up 3–2 in the series.
Karlsson played limited regular-season minutes this year (14 GP, 4–3–7 in 25–26), and his absence removes a veteran option from Vegas's lineup as the Golden Knights attempt to force a Game 7.
