Injury
The Red Sox left fielder remains sidelined with an injury that limits his ability to swing.
Roman Anthony is still experiencing pain in his right hand when swinging, per MassLive.com, though the Red Sox left fielder believes he is progressing through the injury. Anthony, 21, has appeared in 27 games this season with a .230 average (23-100) and one home run across his first two years in the majors.
No timeline for his return has been announced. Anthony's injury status will determine whether the Red Sox continue with their current outfield alignment or make a move at the trade deadline.
