The Chiefs WR is ready to compete in training camp after offseason recovery work.

Xavier Worthy said his shoulder rehab during the offseason provided valuable lessons as he prepares to compete with Kansas City's other receivers ahead of the 2026 season. Worthy, the Chiefs' first-round pick in 2024, ran the fastest 40-yard dash in Scouting Combine history before joining the team.

Worthy had 42 catches for 532 yards and 1 TD across 14 games last season. He did not specify the nature or extent of the shoulder issue, only that the recovery process shaped his approach heading into offseason work.
