Philadelphia is working toward a deal with its 28-year-old goaltender as he enters the final year of his contract.

The Philadelphia Flyers are making progress on a long-term extension with goaltender Dan Vladar. Vladar, 28, is in his fifth professional season and posted a .906 save percentage with a 2.42 GAA over 52 games in the 2025-26 regular season.

The extension talks come as the Flyers enter the playoffs with Vladar as a core piece of their goaltending depth. Contract terms and timeline for a deal have not been disclosed.
