The Thunder's second-year guard had a minimally invasive procedure to remove a herniated disc.

Nikola Topic underwent minimally invasive back surgery to remove a herniated disc and is expected to be fully recovered by training camp, the Thunder announced. Topic, 20, appeared in 10 games this season (2 starts) with averages of 5.2 points, 4.4 assists, and 1.9 rebounds in 16.0 minutes per game.

The timing targets Oklahoma City's offseason calendar, leaving the guard sidelined for the remainder of the playoffs but clearing him for preparations ahead of next season.
