The Cubs right fielder left Saturday's win early and did not play the next day.

Seiya Suzuki left Saturday's 6-1 victory over the Giants because of right knee discomfort and was scratched from Sunday's game. The 31-year-old right fielder is in his fifth season with Chicago and has appeared in 19 games this year, batting .314 with 5 home runs and 9 RBI.

The Cubs have not announced a recovery timeline or imaging results. Suzuki's availability for the remainder of the week will be Chicago's first roster check heading into the All-Star break and trade deadline window.
