The Buccaneers QB addresses his roster status during the offseason.
Baker Mayfield said his contract situation remains "pretty much the same," per reporting on his offseason comments. The 31-year-old quarterback is in the final year of his deal with Tampa Bay after a 2025 season in which he posted 3,693 passing yards, 26 TD, and 11 INT across 17 games with a 90.6 rating.
Mayfield added that the uncertainty will not distract him during OTAs and mandatory minicamp. His status heading into 2026 will likely become clearer as the draft and free-agency period progress.
