George Pickens joined Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys‘ offensive skill players at a player-organized throwing retreat ahead of training camp, A to Z Sports reported Friday, noting the session drew full attendance. The NFL’s deadline for franchise-tagged players to sign multiyear extensions passes Wednesday, and Dallas has already said no talks are coming — Pickens plays 2026 on the fully guaranteed $27.3 million tag. He told reporters in June he has no plans to hold out; the first Oxnard practice is July 29. For fantasy purposes, full voluntary participation from a contract-year receiver coming off a 1,429-yard season keeps Pickens’ WR2-with-WR1-upside draft stock exactly where it was.
