The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a one-year, $3 million contract with forward Ziaire Williams, per Shams Charania of ESPN. Williams, 24, averaged 10.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 56 games for Brooklyn last season, and the 6-foot-9 wing gives JJ Redick bench length in a forward rotation that lost LeBron James and Rui Hachimura this summer.
Williams is a deep-league fantasy name only for now, though the thinned-out Lakers wing depth chart means a training-camp path to rotation minutes is not out of the question.
