Michael Wacha made his first All-Star appearance since 2015 count, working a perfect third inning in the American League’s 4-0 win Tuesday night in Philadelphia. The Royals right-hander struck out Andy Pages and Drake Baldwin before Kyle Schwarber grounded out sharply to second. Wacha reached the break at 5-7 with a 3.77 ERA over 119.1 innings, and Kansas City maintains it has no intention of trading him before the August 3 deadline. For fantasy purposes he stays a matchup-based streamer: the strikeouts were a nice night, not a new skill level, and the surrounding offense caps his win upside.
