The Toronto Raptors closed Summer League group play Thursday night with a 99-90 win over the Miami Heat in Las Vegas, their third straight victory of the week. It still left them short. At 3-1, Toronto finished in the pack of teams tied behind unbeaten Los Angeles, and the last semifinal spots were settled on point differential — where the Raptors’ margins didn’t measure up.

Allen Graves turned in his most complete game of the trip: 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting, 4-of-6 from three, six rebounds, four assists and zero turnovers in 27 minutes. Seth Lundy scored 19 on 6-of-11, his third straight game of 19 or more after putting up 23 against Houston and 22 against Indiana. Between them, Toronto’s two most consistent scorers in Vegas have given the front office exactly what this event is for — repeated evidence, against different defenses, that the production isn’t a one-night accident.

Nate Bittle added 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists in 18 minutes, hitting 3-of-4 from deep — the kind of stretch-big shooting line worth noting from a center prospect. Nimari Burnett chipped in 10. Miami got a monster night from Jahmir Young, who scored 30 with 12 rebounds on 12-of-24 shooting, but little else consistently around him.

The semifinal field came down to Thursday’s results: the Lakers took the top seed at 4-0, and Memphis, Houston and Golden State claimed the remaining spots, with the Warriors edging the final berth on point differential among the 3-1 teams, per NBA.com. Toronto’s 94-93 escape against Indiana on Monday — a one-point margin — is the sort of result that decides these tiebreakers. The Raptors close their Vegas schedule Sunday against Denver in a consolation game.

For fantasy purposes, nothing here moves a redraft board. Graves and Lundy profile as two-way or camp-deal candidates fighting for fringe roster spots, and Bittle is a developmental big — deep dynasty watch-list names only, with no draftable value unless one of them wins real NBA minutes in the fall.
