Zion Williamson has been awarded nearly $686,000 in attorney fees from Gina Ford of Prime Sports Marketing, his former agent, per Michael McCann of Sportico. The ruling is the latest development in a legal fight that began shortly after Williamson left Duke in 2019 and dropped his initial representation agreement.
The case has run alongside essentially all of Williamson’s NBA career with the New Orleans Pelicans. It has no bearing on his contract, his standing with the team, or his availability for 2026-27.
For fantasy managers, this changes nothing about Williamson’s outlook. His value continues to hinge entirely on games played, and the offseason questions worth tracking are his conditioning and the Pelicans’ rotation under Jamahl Mosley — not the courtroom.
