Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has been voted the No. 59 player on the NFL’s Top 100 for 2026, the league announced Monday, moving up five spots from the No. 64 slot he held a year ago. The list is chosen by a vote of NFL players, and the ranking is the second of Nix’s career — he has made it in both seasons he has been eligible.
The rise is grounded in a second season that ended with Denver holding the AFC’s No. 1 seed. Nix started all 18 of the Broncos’ games and went 15-3, throwing for 3,931 yards and 25 touchdowns across 17 regular-season starts while adding 356 rushing yards and five scores on the ground. The production put him in rare company: he joined Peyton Manning and Justin Herbert as the only quarterbacks in league history with at least 3,500 passing yards and 25 touchdown passes in each of their first two seasons, and he tied the record for most wins by a quarterback through two years.
Where Nix separated himself was late in games. His seven game-winning drives led all quarterbacks in 2025, and he finished second in the NFL in fourth-quarter comebacks — the kind of production that tends to register with the players casting these votes. His final appearance of the season was a three-touchdown performance in an overtime divisional-round win over Buffalo, which made him just the second quarterback in franchise history to throw three touchdown passes in a playoff victory. He broke his right ankle in that game and did not play in the AFC Championship loss to New England.
Nix is the third Bronco on this year’s list, joining defensive lineman Zach Allen (No. 73) and wide receiver Courtland Sutton (No. 68). The No. 1 seed was a team achievement — Denver leaned on a defense that kept games close, and Nix repeatedly won them in the fourth quarter — and a Top 100 that recognizes players on both sides of the ball reflects how the Broncos actually got there. At quarterback, Nix now sits ahead of Bryce Young, Brock Purdy, Baker Mayfield, Jordan Love, Lamar Jackson and Trevor Lawrence among the names revealed so far.
Denver reports for training camp later this month, with Nix’s recovery from the ankle injury the central storyline as the Broncos try to build on the franchise’s first No. 1 seed of the Sean Payton era.
