Bo Nix has climbed the one ranking that comes straight from the people who line up against him. The Denver Broncos quarterback was voted No. 59 on the 2026 NFL Top 100, the annual list compiled by a vote of NFL players, when his spot was revealed Monday. That is a five-place jump from the No. 64 ranking he earned a year ago.
The move is modest on paper and meaningful in context. Nix entered the league as a prospect whose ceiling was debated as loudly as anyone’s in his class, and a second straight appearance on a peer-voted list — climbing rather than sliding off — is the kind of endorsement that never shows up in a box score. His placement also dropped him squarely into this year’s Top 100 argument, over whether he belonged ahead of more established veterans at the position.
For a franchise that spent recent seasons searching for stability under center, the ranking is another sign the search is over. Nix’s ankle, the offseason’s one lingering worry, is no longer one; he said after mandatory minicamp that he could be full-go immediately if the team asked, and coach Sean Payton has expressed no concern about his availability.
Denver will still win or lose on the strength of a defense that carried it for long stretches a year ago, and no player vote changes that math. But a quarterback the rest of the league now rates among its top 60 gives the Broncos something they have lacked — a settled answer at the most important position heading into camp.
Rookies reported to Broncos camp on July 22, with veterans due July 28 and the first full practice to follow. Nix will open it as the unquestioned starter, a status the Top 100 vote only underlines.
